Program Support Asst (OA)

Duties include but are not limited to:
Record and document information within and outside the organization. Receive and review regulations, directives and memoranda on ad administrative functions and Quality Management related programs. Work with QM members developing Quality management related policies. Disseminate information to personnel concerning policies, plans and procedures. Respond to inquiries regarding the policies, plans and procedures. Assist with data collection, investigative, and the development of presentation and reports. Coordinate and screen all incoming correspondence and communications for proper distribution. Maintain a variety of files for administrative and professional activities. Maintain a suspense system for all externally assigned requests. Provide follow-up reminders to ensure timely compliance. Apply established quantitative analytical analysis of the service area to address productivity performance issues within the service. Apply basic fact finding and investigative techniques to gather clear-cut factual evidence of compliance with regulations and productivity measures. Work with QM nurses to determine inefficiencies in current and established practices. Serves as primary timekeeper. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-07 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-06. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note:

Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
timekeeping, scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes, answering calls, scanning/copying documents, revising policies/standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Physical Requirements:
The work is primarily sedentary with some moderate physical effort including walking, climbing, bending, reaching and lifting. Work is normally done in an office setting, on occasion requires walking to other services within the facility for investigative type work. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
