Responsible for completing quality and professional preventative maintenance and building troubleshooting throughout all premises.
Primary
Responsibilities:
o Foster a safe work environment that complies with building code and OSHA standards.
o Adhere to MSDS/Chemical management standards for handling various cleaning chemicals.
o Perform various carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and HVAC duties to maintain buildings and equipment operations.
o Schedule and perform preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment.
o Manage a small team of maintenance staff.
o Thoroughly inspect all maintenance team assignments to ensure quality and safety.
o Coordinate with licensed labor professionals to address complex issues outside of your licensing and expertise.
o Ensure safety equipment such as fire alarms, fire extinguishers, etc.

o Performs outside custodial duties as required.
o Address the diverse needs of customers in a professional and helpful manager.
o Monitor inventory levels and order new supplies as needed.
o Conduct daily and weekly meetings to keep staff up to date on any changes o Estimating, costing, and ordering materials to complete work assignments.
o Respond to all emergency maintenance requests at any time.
o Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Demands:
o Stand and squat for longer periods of time (up to 12 hours or more) with scheduled breaks.
o Operate various general maintenance tools and machinery.
o Short and long-distance walking required.
o Use of ladders and step stools o Use force when pushing/pulling carts that weigh on average 50 lbs.
o Ability work in a physically demanding high stress environment.
o Operate washing machines and dryers.
o Frequently lift an average weight of 25 lbs.

Occasion lifting where weight exceeds 50 lbs.

o Frequently reaching below and above waist and also lifting above shoulders with frequent neck/back/torso twisting without restriction.

o Occasional exposure to manual dexterity with the ability to type and use 10-key keypad.
Working Conditions:
o Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions as well as safety alarms and signals.
o Ability to communicate effectively; written and orally in English.
o Must be able to see without impairment for inspection purposes and ability to read small text such as product warning labels o Exposure to extreme hot and cold environments o Ability to work a rotational schedule (6 weeks on and 2 weeks off or as per manager's discretion/business needs) o Ability to work safely and navigate with in small/close quarters and congested areas o May be periodically exposed to elevated noisy surroundings.
o Ability and willingness to travel/work long rotations away from.
Candidate Requirements:
o High School Diploma or equivalent required.
o 2-5 years of HVAC, electrical code and carpentry experience required.
o At least 1 year in a customer service role required.
o 1-2 years of management/leadership experience required.
o Experience working in an access controlled or corrections environment required.
o Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with or without supervision o Strong prioritization and time management skills o Ability and willingness to travel/work long rotations away from home o Must be able to pass a background check and urine analysis.
