Join our team as a Human Resources Specialist and play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's HR functions.
As an integral part of the HR team, you will be responsible for a range of tasks related to recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.

Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
Manage recruitment process, utilizing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to source, screen, and select qualified candidates.
Coordinate and participate in job fairs and other recruitment events.
Employee Relations:
Address employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolutions.
Assist in conducting investigations into employee complaints or issues.
Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
HR Administration:
Assist in the development of human resources forms, documents, correspondence, manuals, and other necessary materials.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Conduct orientations for new hires and facilitate employee training sessions as needed.
Maintain confidentiality in administrative and programmatic matters, sharing information only with authorized individuals within CDLF programs.
Payroll:
Compile and input payroll data, rectify errors, and manage payroll records.
Ensure accuracy and supervisor approval of all employee timesheets.
Validate accrued and used paid time off (PTO) hours.
Process payroll bi-monthly and generate necessary reports.
File copies of all Payroll disbursements and associated documentation.
File HR-related documents in employees' files.
Compliance:
Stay informed about changes in labor laws and HR best practices to ensure the organization's compliance.
Assist in the preparation of reports related to HR metrics and compliance.
Contribute to the creation of reports, documents, correspondence, manuals, and other materials for the Finance Department concerning payroll.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other HR team members to streamline processes and enhance the overall HR function.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in business administration, accounting, or a related human resource field, along with one year of relevant work experience.
Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED, coupled with five years of progressively more responsible experience in effective payroll and human resource functions, is acceptable.
Candidates should be acquainted with current labor laws and human resource practices.
Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.
Additionally, possession of HR certification, such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
