The Human Resources Generalist will be capable of running the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing potential employees, benefits and leave administration along with assisting hiring managers in enforcing company policies and practices.
This position will be instrumental in implementing and tracking LPOA's learning management system spearheading the continued development of LPOA's human capital.
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include but not limited to) Develops, implements, and manages all phases of the recruitment process.
Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
Manages new hire orientation and onboarding.
Works with attorneys as needed to manage international employment Visa needs.
Partners with Marketing and HR to develop employment brand and postings on social media.
Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
Cross trained to administer and execute human resource programs such as benefits, and leaves; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; recognition, and morale; and training and development.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent acquisition, human resources, talent management, and employment law.
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES Thorough knowledge of human resources practices, employment-related laws and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ATS systems.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Paylocity.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
