Summary:
Under the general direction of the Director of Radiology/Medical Imaging, the Radiology Manager leads and manages the operational activities for assigned sections/modalities, locations and support areas.
While the range of duties and responsibilities is broad and varied, the position's major responsibilities are managing all day-to-day operations including the delivery of care, human resource management, capital and operational budgeting, equipment oversight, financial management, and performance improvement activities.
Qualifications -License, Education and/or Experience Required:
Current BLS ARRT (R) registry, with a minimum of five years previous experience as a radiologic technologist, required At least 1 year of management experience Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's preferred.
Essential Functions:
Oversee the work of other personnel by training, allocating, and monitoring Select and operate equipment as directed.
Assist in obtaining and maintaining ACR accreditations.
Maintain and collaborate in Lung Cancer Screening program Assist in development of the capital and operating budgets.
Drive quality and performance improvement initiatives and communicate with this with staff.
Hiring Range:
$48.
00 - $57.
60 per hour.
