Non-Exempt SUMMARY OF JOB:
To maintain all practice medical record charts.
Pull charts for physicians, file documentation and copy medical records per requests in accordance with Community Hospital and practice policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Complete general reception duties as assigned.
Assists walk-in and phone customers with Release of Information needs according to established standards and procedures.
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly manner.

Maintain patient records in compliance with hospital policy and procedure.
Place follow up paper work from previous day's patients on appropriate charts.
Pull incomplete charts for various physicians and nursing staff.
Take incomplete charts to the provider for completion.
Pull charts as requested for Performance Improvement, Risk, etc.
Request charts from off site storage area.
Filing of complete charts.
File all incoming paperwork in correct patient's chart.
Verify signatures on paperwork in medical records.
Put transcription into appropriate charts, and verify provider signature.

Complete routine office duties as assigned.
Order office supplies/distribute.
Pick up and distribute mail 4.
Any other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
This position's pay range is:
$17.
00- $24.
00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments, recognition bonuses and other forms of discretionary compensation may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
